We are back at Cheltenham!

Fantastic to be back at Cheltenham today and excited to be there with five runners. Brillare Momento in the first obviously our biggest chance and I couldn’t be happier with her as she is bigger and stronger than last season and I’m very excited about her season. It’s a hot race though and she could run a blinder and finish 3rd or 4th as it’s always so hard to have a winner at Cheltenham but we are very hopeful.

Of the rest Bobble Emerald has been raised in the handicap following his Southwell win but Harry Stock’s 6lb claim hopefully goes someway towards helping that rise. He has an each way chance and so does Buckle Street who has had a break since winning with Belinda at York in June and running well over hurdles after that. Cottersrock is in the same race as Buckle and would only need to bounce back to his best form to be in with an each way chance but has had his problems which we’ve hopefully ironed out. Thady Quil is gave his owners one of the best days of their lives when he won at Worcester in the Summer. He could be a little outclassed today but they want a Cheltenham runner and are giving Ash Hark, our amateur, his first ride at the home of jump racing so a special day for them all whatever happens. Harry Stock also hasn’t ridden there before so to have two rides there is a big day for him too.

Very busy here this morning with Mark Boothright, John Gent, Steve Bell, Alistair Cole and his family and Jo Stainer with a group from Ezy Recruitment too – all enjoying a glorious sunny morning on the gallops along with champagne and bacon sandwiches en route to the best jump course in the Country. What more could you ask for?!

An exciting day and we can’t wait to get going and #BePartOfIt
