Runners again! Southwell bound.

So exciting to have runners again and we are treble handed with three at Southwell this afternoon.

Capital Force is our first runner for John Abernethy. He goes well fresh and is on a good mark so hopefully he should run a big race. James Best partners him and indeed all three runners.

Ten Past Midnight runs at ten past one in the bumper and is a lovely horse who jumps well at home and has a good attitude. He’ll have come on a lot from his bumper debut but we won’t see the best of him until he goes jumping.

Finally Mr Mafia returns over hurdles in the concluding race and is in really good form. He owes us all nothing and it’s great to have him back from pre-training with his owners, Peter & Jane Boggis, looking superb. We’ve done plenty with him since and I’m hopeful of a bold show from him as he loves Southwell and will hopefully go well at a big price.

David Parry and Paul Davis were here all morning watching the horses on the gallops – great to have owners back in and we can’t wait until we can relax things even more.
