Martin’s Cheltenham Blog Day 1

Cheltenham Day 1.

The day so many of us have been looking forward to since Gold Cup Day 2016!

Although Team Keighley are looking forward to Day 2 even more! Any Currency’s last spin this morning under the watchful eye of Mark Boothright, who manages the Cash is King Partnership, and Elouise Renouard. Tyrone Hanlon  are in to watch the horses on the gallops too.

No runners at Cheltenham but lots of friends to catch up with so a busy day ahead with some great racing too – dreams to be made (and broken) – an exciting day in prospect

Yesterday Belinda headed to Stratford Racecourse with her Macmillan Cancer Support hat on raising money for them through the race she is riding in at York in June.

Owner David Bishop kindly gave up his afternoon to help her and it sounds as if they had an absolute ball!

Thanks to Stratford for enabling them to join the Macmillan Team that were collecting and even more thanks to the generous racegoers that donated – Belinda & David raised an incredible £537! Fantastic!
