A beautiful morning to wake up to and we just cantered everything still in training this morning after a busy work day yesterday.
A few visitors this morning including Chairman Jon Hughes and yard sponsor Ross Hemming and a catch up then a quick lunch with them at the Longborough Coach & Horses and then onto Fontwell Park where we have two runners tonight. Pirate Look runs for The Jack Sparrow Syndicate and is in a handicap for the first time following two 2nds over hurdles for us. He’s got cheek pieces on today to encourage him to concentrate as he rather threw away his chance after the last in his last run. Our Conditional jockey Harry Stock rides and we hope he runs a big race.
In the final race we run Lord Condi who we’ve always thought a lot of. On his debut last autumn he was disappointing and it was as if he got stage fright and he met all sorts of traffic problems on the all weather last time. He seems well at home and should enjoy the ground and it would be great if he could at least run into a place.
Over at Wolverhampton we are represented by Enforcement on the flat under Luke Morris. It’s his debut in a handicap and he seems very well at home and we hope he runs well despite an unfavourable draw.
