Martin’s Blog 8th October

Sunday mornings are generally as busy as any other day as it’s the day I try to catch up with all my owners to discuss their horses’ well being and aims be it on the phone or via email. Today is no different but as an avid F1 fan I’ve been up very early watching the Japanese Grand Prix!

Off to Uttoxeter today with Solstice Star who runs in a Beginners’ Chase over 2m 4f under Killian Moore who won on him twice at Cheltenham two seasons ago over hurdles. He didn’t take to fences as we’d hoped last season but he’s had a few problems which we hope we have ironed out and he seems in good form. It’s a competitive race but I’m hopeful he’ll enjoy himself and run a big race.

We have a busy week ahead of runners with Whatalove and Enforcement running at Windsor tomorrow evening.
