Quite a few owners in this morning including Paul Davis, Jane Berry, Rosemary Peel-Yates and Leigh & Sarah Powell with their daughter and grand-daughter.
It was a hard frost again this morning, for the second day running, so we didn’t work the horses until third lot. We worked Forecast, Spanish Present, Breizh Alko, Prairie Diamond, Wide To West, Myfanwy’s Magic and Samtara.
One runner today, in the last race at Market Rasen, Miladygrace, who is partnered by Champion Jockey Brian Hughes and will hopefully put her fall at Warwick last time well behind her. She won well in November at Taunton and then bumped into one and was inconvenienced by the fences being removed at Leicester next time when she was 2nd. She seems well at home and we hope she’ll got close again today.
Physios Maggie Turner and Hannah Steedman in this morning along with Farrier Nick Partridge so a busy morning with our fantastic extended team helping keep our horses at the top of their game.
We had a fabulous family weekend in Manchester and thanks to the generosity of Phil Eaton who invited us all to join him in a Box watching Manchester United as an early birthday present for Man U fan Freddie. It was a brilliant match and they won 2-1 which was the icing on the cake. Harry supports Manchester City but he coped with watching Utd!!
