Southwell today with two runners and bumper winner Genovese is makes his hurdling debut in the Maiden Hurdle under Sean Bowen. He went to Worcester last week but I wasn’t happy enough with the ground and am pleased with the great job they have done at Southwell. He has done plenty of schooling and will hopefully run well and enjoy his hurding debut.
Ambassador runs for our Racing Club in the 2m Handicap Hurdle, also under Sean Bowen and he has had a few trips to the racecourse without running. He loves quick ground and so ironically may not appreciate the great job that Southwell have done on the ground as it may be a little on the slower side for him but he will hopefully run a solid race for our enthusiastic Racing Club.
