Martin’s Blog 6th January

A busy schooling morning with James Best, Sean Bowen and Phillip Armson in and, along with Harry Atkins they schooled: Found On, Kalibrate, Ambassador, Dreamsundermyfeet, Witness Protection, Rolling Clouds, Enforcement, Ten Past Midnight, Brianna Rose, Briezh Alko, Miss Antipova, Miladygrace, Zestful and Duke of Luckley. Roger & Rosemary Sollis were in to watch their horses and have a catch up and it was great to see them.

It was also great to see Jo Stainer and his wife Sue earlier in the week. They both called in to see us and when Jo is around it’s always lots of fun!

Off to Ludlow today with Finescope in the bumper for Graham Saville and Billy Worthington, who jointly bred her. She’s run in a couple of bumpers and was 3rd last time at Ludlow in May so let’s hope she builds on that today. Billy has been pre-training her and she returned about six weeks ago looking fantastic so I hope she will outrun her odds. Her future is over jumps but it would be great to get a good run into her today en route.
