Martin’s Blog 5th May

Not the trip to Kelso we planned but all horses home safely and, as we all know, that’s the most important thing. Spanish Present’s Festival race had clearly still left it’s mark as he was a bit flat and Big Nasty didn’t jump as well as he did at Cheltenham last time and Blazing Court ran a huge race for a big baby despite being beaten into 5th. He wasn’t beaten far and Brian Hughes liked him a lot, confirming the promise he’s shown us. Wins to be had with them all no doubt.

Local today which is a relief! Worcester with Ben Buie in the first returning from a break and back on his favoured ground under Sean Bowen. He has one of the most enthusiastic group of owners and we will surely have lots of fun no matter what although he looks to have a huge chance. Good luck to them all.
