A quiet weekend of catching up on things and some fantastic racing too especially in Leopardstown where our Chairman Jon Hughes and wife Jack spent the weekend. Would be great to have runners there next year…
Cold this morning but the team working hard as always and we schooled plenty of the horses including Fairmount (Andrew Tinkler), Brillare Momento (Harry), Lady Vitesse (Alfie), Morning Herald (Andrew), Cut & Run (Ash), Sugar Storm (Harry).
Yesterday we schooled Reve (Harry) on the all weather loop and today we took him to Jon Trice-Rolph’s for some more schooling and he was great. He was led by Champion Court today with Kieran on board and Kieran learnt a lot too.
A usual busy Monday with the vet in and farrier Nick Partridge too.
So sorry to hear that Evie, daughter of Nick & Lorna Rawlings, who are in our Racing Club, came off her pony after their visit here on Saturday and has had an operation after two breaks to her elbow and two on her wrist. We all wish Evie a very speedy recovery and can’t wait to see her at the yard again soon. Get well soon Evie.
