Martin’s Blog 4th September

With Farrier Nick Partridge, Physio Maggie Turner and our Vet Jeremy Swan all in this morning it was pretty hectic but we got plenty done.

We had a meeting with Jeremy recently ahead of the busy NH season as we are keen to ensure that we can continue to work together as efficiently and effectively as possible. It was a very worthwhile meeting and one of the things that came out of it was to have Jeremy here at on a set weekly time at the same time as our farrier and physio so that any issue we can sort out hopefully there and then with three of our most trusted professionals. This is a Monday morning and although it will need some organisation, it already proved very helpful and it ensures no delay whilst waiting for a second or third opinion. They all work very well together and it has to be a big plus to the health of the horses in the yard going forward.

The boys are making the most of their last day of the school holidays as they go back tomorrow. They’ve had a wonderful time I’m sure and although they’ve done plenty I know that some of their best days were helping the lads in the yard and playing around at home. So lucky to have so much outdoor space. Belinda’s counting down the hours….!
