Martin’s Blog 30th July

A stunning sunrise this morning and off to Southwell after 1st lot as Lord Condi runs at 12.30pm. He seems well since his win there on his seasonal debut 16 days ago and it would be great if he could follow up with another solid run in a competitive looking race.

Horses at home coming along nicely although he is our only runner this week. More coming back in from their holidays ahead of a winter campaign.

It’s our Virtual Owners’ Day on Sunday via Zoom so do get in touch if you would like an invitation to join us. It’s at 11am and Sky Sports Presenter Hayley Moore is helping present it with Neil Lloyd, MD to our yard sponsor FBC Manby Bowdler, as Technical Director. Last Sunday’s rehearsal went well and we have another run through tomorrow and we should then be all set. The usual horse parade replaced with footage of them cantering, schooling and some of their races too. It’s a shame we can’t hold our usual Owners’ Day in person but this should be a fabulous replacement and we hope those that get involved enjoy it. Drop me an email if you wish to #BePartOfIt.
