Doncaster today with two runners after a quiet February which we only had 5 or 6 runners but a double at Catterick last Friday.
Brillare Momento is back over hurdles and we are hoping she regains her confidence after not enjoying fences last time. Harry Stock has schooled her lots at home and rides her today. My physios and vets are happy with her, as am I so let’s hope we can have an encouraging run and get her back on track.
Cotswold Prince makes his debut over hurdles also under Harry Stock for his enthusiastic group of owners. He’s done plenty at home but you never quite know how they will take to it on the course. It’s a small field which will give him plenty of daylight however it’s pretty competitive but will be a good guide and we hope he’ll make a decent debut.
A fun evening last night at The Hollow Bottom celebrating Freddie’s birthday with his friends and their parents after they’d been to Mr Mulligan’s crazy golf in Cheltenham. Thanks to Hugh & Amy for spoiling him – a fantastic night.
