Martin’s Blog 29th May

Work morning and Warren Marston, Andrew Tinkler and Tom Bellamy all in to ride out. We worked Primogeniture, Matravers, Forecast, Dr Dunraven, Sporty Yankee, Weyburn, Cotswold Prince, Hartshorne Abbie, Mr Mafia, Enforcement, Morning Herald, Sulamani 3 year old, Young Phoenix, Sugar Storm and Peeping Penny. The others just cantered or had a quiet day of walking and trotting.

After a week or so with not many runners there are plenty of entries coming up and the horses seem in good form so that will hopefully continue.

Sales season continues with the Cheltenham Sale on Thursday and then in two weeks time we are off to Goffs Sale in Ireland so do get in touch if you are interested in either Sale. Exciting times and our Yeats x Change of Plan three year old that we bought at Doncaster Sales is really pleasing us. He is a half brother to Ben Buie, a lovely youngster by Presenting that we’ve recently partnered out and who is a horse for the future so we’ve given him a holiday now and will bring him back in for an early bumper in the autumn.

Happy Birthday to Charlie Dee who was pupil assistant here a few years ago and now works for Lillingston Bloodstock and runs our Pirate Look syndicate.
