Martin’s Blog 28th August

A new rider outer 1st lot this morning as Richard East’s daughter Jess joined the string 1st lot on Solstice Star, whom we have had so much fun with. She is an accomplished rider and looked to thoroughly enjoy herself. School next week sadly…..for mine too!

We also had a visit from Geraldine, Paul and Oliver Townend who have a share in Forecast whose just back into training following a holiday.

Two runners tonight at Worcester where the going is currently good. Cotswold Prince returns over hurdles after a promising 3rd on his seasonal debut. He’ll strip fitter tonight and again has the services of the Champion Jockey, Richard Johnson, in the saddle so we are hoping for another good run.

Zara Tindall’s homebred Cut And Run represents us in the last race of the evening and she was an emphatic 12 length winner at Bangor last time. She’s got Leighton Aspell on her once again and seems in good form so will hopefully run another competitive race tonight in her handicap debut.
