We absolutely love supporting Charity Races and, although not the fairytale win for either of our team yesterday, it did not matter one bit as everybody thoroughly enjoyed it and that’s what it’s all about.

We headed to Chepstow to support Racing Staff Week with two runners in their Betfair Charity Race – Debden Bank & Ernie and also Kazontherazz and Sian who was riding in her first ever race. Both girls had plenty of supporters and we are so grateful to both sets of owners for allowing them the opportunity.

Team Sian

Debden Bank & Kazontherazz were always going to be up against it over 1m 2f when they both do all their winning over at least twice that distance and with plenty of obstacles on those occasions too but both horses looked to thoroughly enjoy their experience, galloping right the way through the line with both girls wearing huge smiles!

All smiles – Polly & Nell both came to lead up and support
Happy Trainer & Jockeys post race!

Afterwards Ernie was thrilled & surprised when she was presented with a prize for being the Highest Fundraiser so a huge well done to her and thanks to everyone who sponsored both Ernie and Sian – Racing Welfare is such an important charity and we are so very fortunate to receive their support in so many different ways. They deserve every penny.

Well done Ernie!

Well done to each and every jockey in the race – a photo that I’m sure many will treasure.
