A huge day today for two of our team – both Ernesta Verberg & Sian Brooke are riding in the Racing Welfare Charity race at Chepstow and both have worked very hard raising money and will hopefully have a wonderful day. Ernie partners Debden Bank who she rides out and looks after and absolutely adores and the same with Sian who partners Kazontherazz who she also looks after and gets on really well with. Thank you so much to Debden’s partnership of owners and to The Meagher Family for enabling these two the chance of such a fun day today.

They’ll be our first runners for a week. Ten Past Midnight ran a solid enough race at Stratford last week and jumped well under Harry Atkins. Part owner Michael Chitty generously treated Belinda & myself to supper afterwards at The Old Butchers in Stow on the Wold which is one of our favourite restaurants. As usual, it was absolutely delicious and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
Miss Antipova is our next runner and she has been declared to run at Worcester on Wednesday under James Best.
