Martin’s Blog 25th March

Buckle Street runs in a competitive Juvenile Hurdle at Newbury today in what will be his final run for the Martin Keighley Racing Club before he returns to owner Mary Hambro at the end of the month. We will be sad to hand him back as we’re all very fond of him but he’s done the club proud and it would be great if he runs a big race for them as his swan song today live on ITV. There are over 20 very excited owners heading there today and I think he’s improved again since he won at Southwell so we’re hopeful of a big run.

Everything at home just cantered this morning after working yesterday. John Nicholson, who is running in the London Marathon next month, was in 1st lot as was Andrew Tinkler.

No runners tomorrow but lots of entries next week, especially at Southwell on Tuesday, so a busy week in prospect.

Don’t forget to put your clocks back tonight & to spoil your Mums tomorrow on Mothering Sunday!
