Martin’s Blog 25th July

Work morning and we worked Oscar World, Dr Dunraven, Mister Valentine, Hartshorne Abbie, Enforcement, Bay Dude, Buckle Street, City Never Sleeps. Plenty of others cantered and some are still just walking and trotting.

Mike and Mella Wright brought back their Twentyoneblackjack late morning and he looks an absolute picture and is a real credit to them. He’s strengthened up and is lucky they are patient owners who have given him the time he no doubt needed. He’s returned a bigger, stronger horse and we look forward to cracking on with him.

Jon Hughes here to see Mike & Mella and to meet with our Landlord Robert Wharton and discuss even more exciting expansion and upgrade plans. We’ve come so far in the last 18 months or so but there are always more things to be done.

Just missing Mike & Mella were Geoff & Caroline Godsall who called in on the off-chance after a visit to Claire Hardwick’s Adlestrop base to see their Philip Hobbs’ trained horse Melechov who is there. It was great to see them both and they were thrilled to see Dr Dunraven looking so well.
