Foggy again this morning and a quiet day after yesterday’s work day where Mark Boothright was in to watch his horses on the gallops including Back on the Lash who heads to Cheltenham tomorrow. Harrison Beswick was in to school Mr Mafia yesterday as he has turned Amateur this week so is riding him tomorrow at Cheltenham. They seemed to get on well and Mafia schooled well with Big Nasty who was impressive too.
A busy morning though with Tim Messom and his family here for a Morning on the Gallops with breakfast and great to meet them. Two runners today at Ludlow. Gold Mountain (Leighton Aspell) runs in the 2.35pm and he has been consistently running well all summer and will hopefully be bang there again for owners Jim Burley and Jon Hughes. Bobble Emerald runs later in the afternoon and was disappointing last time and needs to put that behind him but if he bounces back under conditional Patrick Cowley, he should be in the shake up.
