Martin’s Blog 23rd May

Stunning here this morning and perfect for filming which is good as Alberto Redondo is doing a documentary and flew over from Spain yesterday, stayed at the Coach & Horses in Longborough (where he was looked after very well by Wendy & Joe McDonagh) and was here for the morning to film. Not sure where we’ll be appearing but the weather simply couldn’t have been kinder.

Doncaster Sales for me today and we have two going – Somewhere To Be (Lot 847) and Oscar World (Lot 849) so a very early start for Richard as we were keen for them to be there early for viewing this morning. Both are being sold due to their owner moving abroad – do get in touch with me if you’d like to know anything about them, I’ll be at the Sales too.

We have a runner on the Flat too on the turf at Chepstow where Be Thankful makes her debut for us. She is partnered by Edward Greatrex and is a lovely filly bred by the Richardson family who have kindly leased her to our Racing Club to have some fun with this summer. It will be interesting to see how she goes today. My Assistant Foxy is in charge there.
