Martin’s Blog 21st October

Blowy here this morning and very autumnal. Andrew Tinkler was in and we schooled Somewhere To Be, Ocean Eleven, Brillare Momento, Bobble Emerald, Cottersrock, My Lad Percy, Weyburn and Buckle Street.

Fiona Gamble and Sheila Lindsay were here to watch Buckle Street in action and can hardly contain their excitement as he’s heading for Cheltenham next weekend! Tilly Jarrett was also in to watch the horses on the gallops.

No runners this weekend but always lots to do! An exciting time of year with so much to look forward to.

Our newsletter should be landing in your inboxes over the weekend so if you would like to be included in the newsletter circulation group (it’s always full of lots of information and well worth a read!) then please do send us your details or simply add your details on the right hand side of the bottom of the home page.

Freddie is safely home from his five day trip with the school on an adventure holiday to Brecon. The poor teachers got more than they expected as quite a few, including Freddie, came down with a sickness bug. Luckily only a 12/24 hour thing but still not nice for all. Despite that he had a fantastic time and couldn’t wait to get back on his pony Bubbles first lot this morning! Harry’s teacher told Belinda last night that she’d been talking to a jockey in the Hollow Bottom pub recently and she told him that all she knows about horse-racing she has learnt through teaching Freddie for 3 years!

Have a great weekend.
