We had a fun night at the Coach & Horses in Longborough for their monthly Curry night last night with the team – a thank you for their hard work up to and including Owners’ Day on Sunday and very much deserved. I keep saying that we are nothing without our team but that is so true and we are doing all we can to make sure that the team enjoy working here as happy staff make happy horses and we have the best team of staff we’ve had. We are looking for at least another member of staff to join our competitive team as our equine team expands so do get in touch if you are interested in joining us.
Andrew Tinkler in this morning and we schooled Solstice Star, Ballymountain Boy, Ask Alice, Cup of Ambition, Ocean Eleven, Cul De Poule, Young Phoenix, Cottersrock and The Kvilleken on the loop by the yard. John and Claire Abernethy were here to watch Whatalove and the Getaway Filly they have for sale here – they were here on Sunday too so obviously can’t stay away! John actually won the 3rd prize in our Raffle on Sunday which was a Champagne Breakfast here although they are saving that for a later day. We discussed options for Whatalove who he owns in partnership with Peter Boggis, father of our Racing Club Ambassador, Event rider Kitty.
