Martin’s Blog 20th October

A very busy schooling morning but also possibly the worst rain the team have ridden out in 1st lot so not very pleasant for them all. It had stopped by the time we schooled though and we had Sean Bowen, James Best, Patrick Cowley and James King all in to school.

Lovely to have so many owners in though despite the weather. David Maughan, Matthew Baker, Tilly Jarrett, Roger & Rosemary Sollis and Paul Davis were all in for an exciting schooling session.

We schooled: Sarasota Star (Sean), Debden Bank (James King), Witness Protection (James Best), Pay The Woman (Sean), Big Nasty (James King), Back on the Lash (Sean), Mozzaro (James Best), Talkischeap (Sean), Samtara (Paddy), Dreamsundermyfeet (James Best), Cut & Run (Paddy), Reve (Sean), Be Thankful (Paddy), Brorson (Sean), Mahanakhon Power (Sean), Kazontherazz (James Best) and City Never Sleeps (Harry Atkins).

A brilliant schooling morning and they jumped really well.

Worcester has had over 20mm of rain – we have had more – and we head there with HerecomesHogan in the bumper under James Best. He’s already given so many horses so much fun – he’s the first micro syndicate we have organised and Paul Davis has done a wonderful job co-ordinating everything with help from the Racing Manager App. Lots of supporters are off to Worcester and, although it looks a red hot race and we aren’t sure he’ll go in the soft ground, we are hopeful for another encouraging run from him. We’ll learn more about him today that’s for sure. Good luck Hogan.
