The first day of Royal Ascot and, although we planned to go, we have lots on here so will wait until Friday. A busy day here with one of our physios, Hannah Ashton, in to check and treat some of the horses. Work day, often a Tuesday, will be tomorrow instead as we can be flexible due to what jockeys can come in and when the horses are running.
Assistant Trainer Foxy, on his holiday this month, called in for a catch up with us all and looks itching to be back and is as excited as we are with the new horses we bought last week and the rest of the team we have for the season ahead.
Our Newsletter was sent out yesterday so do get in touch if you didn’t receive it or would like to be added to the distribution list – with the help of the fantastic Toby Elford, it really is an entertaining read and we are sorry that it made one of Mr Mafia’s owners, John Abernethy, emotional once again!
Huge congratulations to one of our owners and great friend Zara Tindall on the birth of a baby girl yesterday, a sister to Mia. Thrilled for them all.
