A frosty but gorgeous morning and any of you who follow us on Twitter or Facebook will know exactly what I mean if you’ve seen the video of 1st lot – absolutely stunning.
Last night Belinda represented the Team at The Cotswold School Careers Evening teaming up with our only female Starter in the Country, ex Champion Lady Jockey Sophia Upton. Together they were part of the Careers in Racing Team and their aim of the evening was to share their passion for our wonderful sport and to explain the diverse occupations available to anyone looking for a career in racing – it’s not all about being a jockey! They felt it a very worthwhile evening and who knows what may come out of it.
Paul Davis was in this morning and a busy day here with decorators in too and even Chairman Jon Hughes was seen with a paintbrush in his hand for quite some hours so do appreciate the downstairs loo in the yard when you next come for a visit! He’s promised that he’s coming back again to finish off! Clearly a man of many talents!
Tickets for Freddie & Belinda’s Pie & Pint Fundraising Night at The Fox Inn at Broadwell on 12th November are available at the Office now – £15 a head and the first customer, Racing Club Member and Harry’s Tutor, Mrs Cox, called in tonight to secure hers – don’t miss out!!
