Martin’s Blog 17th November

I was at Cheltenham yesterday looking over the Sales horses that will go through tonight. There are some lovely horses there, as you would expect, and we’d love to be bringing a few home with us and adding to our amazing Cheltenham record of 19 winners with them too! Who knows.. the dream will start tonight if we are successful. Some will go for crazy money but hopefully a few may slip through under the radar – do get in touch if interested.

Over 20 people here this morning – owners and friends – enjoying a perfect start to a Cheltenham day – frosty sunny morning here and even more stunning than usual. Thanks to Dave and Mary Cull for helping Belinda with the bacon which was enjoyed by all and the team were fed before first lot too so well over 30 bacon sandwiches and plenty of champagne drunk too – fabulous.

Lesley Sutton here to ride Champion Court – a prize she generously bought at Belinda’s Macmillan Cancer Support Auction – an accomplished rider Lesley also brought her son with her and his fantastic drone and the technology that goes with it – we can’t wait to see the pictures – a perfect day for that too.

Off to Cheltenham. No runners but plenty of people to catch up with, great racing and lots of time to spend looking over the Sales horses again.

Hoping to see lots of you later….can’t wait.
