A great day’s racing yesterday although we have no runners – caught up with a few friends although it’s a good job we have two more days as there are so many more we need to catch up with. A brilliant meeting and superb for The Statham family and the Warren’s to have their first Cheltenham winner – a wonderful feeling for them.
Loads of owners in this morning including Paul Davis, Alan Stickley, Mark & Elliott Boothright, Tyrone Halong, The Kinsey Family, The Lindsay Family, Matt Capp, Tracey & George Thornton, Mark Holland and also 40 members of the Racegoers Club. A very busy fun morning with about 70 people on the gallops over three lots! Love Cheltenham mornings and the Racegoers Club seemed to really enjoy themselves too. Thanks to Paul Davis and Mary & Dave Cull for all their help.
Tom Bellamy, Mark Caswell, Beth Whittle and Harry Greasby all in to help riding work and we worked quite a few horses – some on the grass gallops too.
Buckle Street is our only runner at Cheltenham today and we need to pray he’s on his best behaviour to start as he’s not the most reliable however he is in brilliant form and if he starts with the rest of them I think he’s got a very good chance…..if…..! Come on Buckle Street!
