Yesterday was a very special day celebrating the marriage of Hannah Ashton and Alex Steedman – the new Mr & Mrs Alex Steedman and a good day was had by all. Congratulations to them both and we wish them a long and happy life together. A few sore heads today I’m sure! What a party!
Today we have two runners at Bangor. Ben Buie (James Best) needs to build on his chasing debut last time out but seems well and really pleased me last time – he tired late on due to a lack of a recent run. He’ll strip fitter today.
Mr Mafia has been in rude health since his record breaking Market Rasen win last time and is reunited with Sean Bowen again tonight. The ground should suit and he will hopefully run another big race. I’d love him to win today as it’s Belinda’s birthday and she rides him out every day and absolutely adores him. Good luck to owner Peter Boggis.
