Martin’s Blog 15th August

We had two runners at Worcester last night with our first runner, Gold Mountain, running a big race to finish 4th. He pleased us as it was competitive and he surely won’t be long until he gets his head in front. Chequered View ran well for a long way and came there challenging but just kept on one pace to finish 4th and was a little disappointing. She didn’t read the script though as she’d have been a perfect early birthday winner for her owner who celebrates today – Happy Birthday to HRH The Princess Royal.

Whilst in Salcombe we caught up with Peter Boggis for lunch on Tuesday which was delicious. His Mr Mafia may run at Southwell on Sunday and lots of discussion about him and all the fun he is giving us all. We may also run Capital Force and Bobble Emerald at Southwell too so a busy Sunday and hopefully a successful one too.
