Andrew Tinkler was in this morning for a couple of lots and schooled Dalton Glance over fences ahead of her run on Saturday at Stratford. We’ve been busy watering the schooling ground to enable it to ride well enough to school during this dry spell.
Ollie and Irene Ryan were in to watch two lots on the gallops including their horses Brillare Momento and Cup of Ambition. Great to catch up with them both and always lots to discuss – they continue to be a great supporter of the team.
Jon Hughes also here to watch the horses on the gallops and meet our sponsor Ross Hemming to discuss even more future improvements to the facilities here. Ross’s company, Leisure Ride Surfaces, have so much to offer and if you are thinking of either improving a current surface, be it an arena or gallop, they are definitely worth a phone call as the have so much knowledge and experience with all types of equestrian discipline.
With Cheltenham Sales following racing there next Thursday I’ve spent plenty of time looking at the form/breeding of the horses for sale with Bloodstock Agent Gerry Hogan and do get in touch if you are interested in discussing any of them or indeed joining us at the Sale next week. We’ve also got horses here that are available so do call me to arrange to call in on your way to the races if you would like to watch them on the gallops. People often worry about bothering us on a Cheltenham morning but it’s always busy here and we love nothing more than inviting new faces to have a look at what we have to offer.
