What an exciting day for the 53 members of The Cotswold Lockdowners and especially the six lucky ones who are able to be at Worcester in person to watch Herecomeshogan make his racecourse debut. He’s a horse we purchased at Goffs Land Rover Sales in August and it is fantastic to get him to the track. Due to covid restrictions not many of them have actually met him themselves but we have ensured plenty of videos and photos and fantastic communication via The Racing Manager App. Paul Davis runs the syndicate and there couldn’t be a better person to keep everyone up to date with all that is going on.

James Best takes the ride and has ridden him a lot at home so knows him well. Hopefully he’ll enjoy his first day at school and will learn a lot from the process and show us the promise he has shown at home. An exciting day and great to get him to the track.
Before Hogan we run Mr Mafia over fences under Sean Bowen for Peter Boggis. He seems in such good form and has won at Worcester before and I’d love nothing more to get him back into the Winners’ Enclosure. He’s 12 now and owes us nothing but seems to still really enjoy being in training and as long as he continues to enjoy his racing and is competitive then we will keep him going.
