Martin’s Blog 12th June

Another year older! Thanks for all your birthday wishes – I’m not a great lover of birthdays but after a busy week I have promised myself a quieter afternoon today – shame there isn’t a card of jump racing to watch .. but soon there will be!

Work morning and the most owners we’ve had in for months. John and Claire Abernethy were in to watch James Best work their horse Capital Force. He’s in good form and should be ready to go early in July. Jo Stainer was in to watch Lord Condi work and we are looking forward to getting him to the track, also in July. Paul Davis was also in and he’s got shares in or runs partnerships for horses including Cotswold Prince, Capricia, Kazontherazz, Black Panther, Be Thankful, City Never Sleeps, Enforcement, Beneagles and Eclat Des Mottes.

Warren Marston and James Best were in to ride work and, as well as the usual team we were joined by Harry Atkins, and Belinda & Freddie are each riding 2/3 lots every morning now keeping it in house!
