We head to Worcester today with two of our younger horses. Wannabe Sporty makes his racecourse debut in the bumper under Freddie Keighley for Jeremy Hill who is a new owner with us and we are very much looking forward to his debut. He’s out of Spice Girl who won three bumpers for us and was a decent mare over hurdles too albeit she was very green and well beaten on her bumper debut. He’s only 4 so it’s all about education today but he will hopefully run a solid race and will no doubt learn plenty from the experience.
Bluey Bay for The Serendipity Syndicate is having his 3rd run over hurdles under James Best. He’s a huge horse and has been incredibly backward but has strengthened up over the summer and we hope will show us far more today. He still needs to properly grow into his frame but he’s shown us more at home this time and we are hopeful he can put those disappointing runs behind him.
It’s busy in the yard with the horses stepping up their work – exciting times.
