Martin’s Blog 10th March

We schooled a few this morning including Forecast, Cottersrock, The Wexfordian and Double Chocolate. Conor Shoemark was in for three lots and Miranda Theobald was in first lot to ride out too.
Miranda is very talented and can turn her hand to anything from making any type of soft furnishings to cushions to jockey skull cap silk covers and is a perfectionist. She is helping us put the finishing touches on our Owners’ Room and we cannot wait to it finished later today.

Huge thanks to plumber Stewart Darvill who came out last night to sort a problem and help us get the yard sorted for our busy week ahead. Flooring being laid today in our Owners’ Cloakroom.
Jon Hughes here 2nd lot to watch the horses on the gallops and schooling.

Belinda and I are going to Sandown Park today for the Grand Military Lunch and are looking forward to cheering Guy Disney on as he bids to try and ride the winners of both the Grand Artillery (he won this last month) and today’s race. He is an incredible person and an example to all.
