Jazzy wins at Lingfield!

Tom Queally was shown at his strongest yesterday persuading Jazzy to get his head in front on the Flat at Lingfield. We are fortunate to be able to employ the services of such a top class flat jockey who we can rely on and, as Luke Harvey on Attheraces pointed out, a lesser jockey probably wouldn’t have won on him.

Whatalove was disappointing but has returned with a nasty cut and also might just need a break after a busy time. So a surprising result to come home with Jazzy winning at 14-1 and Whatalove a beaten favourite but that is what makes racing so interesting, sometimes frustrating, but so exciting when it all goes right and occasionally we can be pleasantly surprised too!

Lizzie Kelly and James Nixon in this morning and we schooled Thady Quil, Buckle Street and The Kvilleken and they all jumped really well.

The Leisure Ride team are back here again working hard on the loop and the horses out in the paddocks for the day look to be enjoying watching all the activity happening around them.

I’m off to Newmarket Tattersalls Sales today so do get in touch if you are interested in any of the horses going through tonight.
