A glorious weekend in prospect and three runners for us today. Breizh Alko heads north to Haydock For the Challenger Staying Chase Series Final Handicap Chase under Adam Wedge for David Parry. He’s in good form but I’m concerned about the ground for him as he’s got legs like glass so we’ll have a good walk around and make a decision. They are still giving the ground as good to soft so let’s hope so.
At Newton Abbot 13 year old legend Mr Mafia has his first run of the year after a winter holiday with his owners, Peter & Jane Boggis. He returned looking fabulous, as always, and does often need his first run but is in wicked form and we hope to have lots more fun with him again this summer. He loves being in training and will hopefully give Finn Lambert a good spin. It’s Peter’s 75th Birthday tomorrow so a huge happy birthday to Peter.
Herecomeshogan runs for The Cotswold Lockdowners in the 2m 2f Maiden Hurdle under James Best. He was pulled up last time so needs to bounce back but is learning all the time and will hopefully give a much better account of himself today.
Good luck Team and Happy Easter everyone.
