Dreamsundermyfeet wins for the 4th time this season!

Win number 26 for the Team yesterday at Huntingdon with Dreamsundermyfeet winning for the 4th time this season, this time under Ben Godfrey for Owners for Owners: Dreamer – a very patient syndicate who are now being hugely rewarded for their patience.

Dreamer battles up the run-in

Jon Hughes, who heads the syndicate, shared the following with the rest of his owners last night:
There are some horses that definitely put a smile on your face, and Dreamsundermyfeet has become one of them: so good-looking, full of character, has his own enthusiastic view on life – and a multiple winner, with terrific, progressive figures for 2021 of 7,5,2,1,1,1,3,1…..

What a star he has been for us and one that has taken time and patience from us all. He is still a big baby and learning all the time and I’m sure there is more improvement to come from him. Ben gave him a great ride – he found the early pace quick enough and out of his comfort zone at times but got into a rhythm, taking it up before 2 out. He hung right approaching the last and up the run in but he is convinced it was greenness and in no way him being ungenuine and I agree with him, I’m sure there is a lot more fun to be had with him.

Dreamsundermyfeet was one of our famous Southwell Treble Treble winners and is now our winning most horse of the season. It’s also numerically our 4th best season already so a huge well done to the whole team and thanks to everyone who continues to support us.

Well done Jasmin! Jas looks after Dreamer and rides him out every day

Jane Boggis came this morning to collect Mr Mafia and take him home to his 5* winter home with them in their Wiltshire base. He looked a picture and he’s been a superstar again for us this season. Last night after school Freddie took the opportunity to whizz him over some of the jumps on our new Condicote Fun Ride (launched today) and Mr Mafia, considering Freddie’s only ever jumped Solstice Star over little show jumps, looked after Freddie so well. They jumped a selection of logs and tyres and it was wonderful to see. A complete schoolmaster and, with Mr Mafia nearing his 13th birthday, both very similar in age. What fun he’s given us all and, if he returns in the same heart, will give us more fun next season too I’m sure.

Stunning. Two happy boys. You’d never know Mafia has had 8 runs this summer and is nearly 13!
