Brianna Rose WINS at Hereford

Absolutely thrilled with Brianna Rose’s win yesterday at Hereford for owner Matthew Baker who has to be one of our most popular owners and we aren’t surprised! That is her second win over fences and, whilst it has to be looked upon as a lucky win as the two challengers parted company 2 out, she was also hampered then too so did well to stand up herself. Sean was quite positive that she may have come out on top any way but that is immaterial.

It was a lovely ride from Sean who eased her into the race and got her confidence over the fences in the first circuit and got her travelling without hassling her. Well done to Sian Brooke who rides her out and looks after her too. It was also great to see David & Mary Cull join Matthew and his mother Carol on the winning podium.

Well done Brianna

A fabulous Grand National and brilliant racing from Aintree on Saturday. The new measures went well and, although it’s not the challenge of old, we do have to move with the times so it was great to have no fallers and all horses home safely.

No runners today but hopefully heading to Ffos Las tomorrow.
