A Warm Welcome From Martin & Belinda Keighley
We’re based in the beautiful and historic setting of Condicote Stables, a short drive from Cheltenham in the heart of the Cotswolds. For many years Condicote was home to jump racing legend David “The Duke” Nicholson: “Maker of horses, maker of men”, as Alastair Down described him. We follow in his tradition and footsteps, and are proud to do so. We’ve trained over 300 winners to date, including 21 winners at Cheltenham.
We give your horse individual attention that simply cannot be delivered in a larger yard. Do come and visit.

Lycetts Team Champion Awards 2021
We were delighted to be shortlisted for the Lycetts Team Champion Award in 2020. Judged in partnership with the National Trainers Federation, the Team Champion Award was judged on the principles of The Winning Approach, a new industry standard to assist trainers in attracting and retaining valuable staff. The standard provides guidance in several areas, including effective recruitment and induction systems, safe and positive working environments, development and training, and reward and recognition. We were delighted to be judged to be a three-star yard – the highest level of accreditation

“What a yard to have a horse in! Happy, enthusiastic and ultra-professional ….. Just love being involved with such wonderful people.”
Owner Peter Boggis after his wonderful Mr Mafia landed his 12th win that matched the horse’s age

Incredible Cheltenham Record
It’s the dream of every owner to have a winner at the ‘Home of Jump Racing’ at Prestbury Park. The richest owners and biggest trainers have huge monetary firepower and are able to buy their Cheltenham winners regardless of cost. What marks out Martin Keighley is his fantastic track record with 21 Cheltenham winners to date from a relatively small stable and with horses that haven’t necessarily cost the earth. There’s a Roll of Honour up in the yard and every owner aspires to have their name on it.
Have a horse with Martin and, with luck, it could be your name that graces the honours board.

“I cannot describe the unbelievable excitement and sheer delight in watching my horse surge up the Cheltenham hill for such a hard-fought victory. But to do it three times was simply incredible. Just thinking about it sends my heart rate off the scale.”
Mark Boothright, Owner, Champion Court
